Three of the most interesting holes at Mountaineer Golf include:
Hole #11 is a short, but challenging, Par 5 hole for every golfer. Both sides of the narrow fairway are bordered by woods with a 90 degree dogleg leading to a downhill shot to a small green.
Hole #12 is a short 213 Par 4 with a risk/reward type tee shot. The hole features a dogleg to the left with maple trees guarding the front right section of the green. A tee shot hit long or left is in severe trouble. An accurate tee shot rewards you with an easy birdie or a possible eagle.
Hole #14 is considered the course signature hole measuring anywhere from 125 to 185 yards. The green, probably the most undulating on the course, is bordered by sand and water.
